I have finished this chapter. My recommendation for all of you who are just starting to build this printer:1) Read all the comments before you start - it will take you some time but it will save you a lot of work.2) Degrees and lube alll the bearings now! Many people complain about the noise and friction of the bearings. I've ignored this because its not recommended in the manual, but the noise and friction was driving me crazy. Using provided lubricant makes a huge difference. Google two rods method of packing linear bearings.3) When installing belt into plastic carriages push the belt all the way in. Also when folding the belt arround the bolt waste as little belt as possible,3-4 teeth max, else the belt will be too short and tension too high.I wish I knew this before assembly. I do have a little OCD, so I've spent over 5 hours on this chapter. Half of that time was me redoing previous steps.People also complain about low quality of the bolts. I was treating this build as a build of electronics device, not GM heavy duty truck. No bolts were stripped during this process.
I have done the Y-axis assembly chapter until the end. It takes me almost 5h. I think 1h or 2h is very underestimated. Maybe a skilled pearson which already mounted another one could do it in the estimated time. But It tooks me too much attention to do the steps all right.
