The mmu2s tries to load the filament 2 times, after 2 failed attempt it stops the print and shows a load error, is there a way to change the load attempts from 2 to 3 or 4?

Hello Daniel, this would have to be adjusted in the firmware (meaning you cannot adjust it on your own). But it is an interesting suggestion, thank you for it!

Me to!

We are almost out of options and tried several different settings..:(

At this moment i’m not to happy with this mmu2s …before the printer worked just fine!

Hello Bram,

Please go through this article, it contains a lot of information on how to troubleshoot this. https://help.prusa3d.com/article/bysrimn4jc-mmu-needs-user-attention

Stephen, what settings did you need to change? I am having jamming also.
Stephen Harbin
Just a suggestion, you need to add a more detailed guide about tuning filament settings in Slic3r PE, to the handbook. I printed the lizard and had to clear multiple unloading jams with the filament getting caught in the orange tube, even with using Prusament. One of your representatives told me the settings to change in the app. I had the impression that the MMU2S was just plug and play, but additional work needs to be done, even after assembly, especially with different branded filaments.

Hi Stephen, we have only tested the MMU2/S with certain filaments - we cannot guarantee it will work with every possible brand and filament type. Some fine tuning might be necessary on your end.

funny: I given the command to load filamnt 1 and I get filament 5 unload jam signal (red fast blinkng)

and there’s no filament on channel 5….

Hi! Please check if you have the cables connected correctly on both ends.
