Ensure the printer is turned off and not plugged in.
While moving with the extruder, the X-axis motor works as a generator. You will create a small amount of electricity and the LCD might flicker. Move with the extruder reasonably slowly and in the future always use the printer's controls.
⬢Move the extruder manually all the way to the left.
⬢By rotating BOTH threaded rods at the same time on the Z-axis move the nozzle until you reach the heatbed. Try rotating both the rods equally!
Check again from a different angle the nozzle is touching slightly the heatbed. Don't bend the heatbed!
Don't place the steel sheet on the heatbed during the entire P.I.N.D.A. probe adjustment process. Wait for the XYZ calibration.
Although a minor, I think the point about not having the steel sheet on the bed until the XYZ calibration is better made right at the top under “Ensure the power…” and should get an “!” icon not a “I” icon since having the sheet on the bed will invalidate the adjustments made in the next steps.
Something is wrong… I’m failing XYZ calibration tests all over the place. Think it’s the PINDA. I did the test and the light goes off but the value doesn’t change from zero when I place a metal object under it.
The 3rd picture looks more like it is not touching at all than slightly touching. Does it matter as long as it is between slightly touching and just above as in the picture?
In step 2 it references moving the threaded rods to move the e-axis down. I believe they are showing you which way to move the e-axis but you are supposed to be spinning the threaded rods as they stated.
