Prusament Woodfill is our own in-house-made filament with ±0.04 mm manufacturing tolerance. The material is filled with wood for great looks, while it maintains very easy printability.
Recommended nozzle temperature: 195 ±10 °C
Recommended bed temperature: 60 ± 10 °C
Print sheet: The Prusament woodfill can be printed on satin sheets and smooth sheets with a separation layer. Do not use it to print on the Textured sheet.
Description
The Prusament Woodfill is an easy-to-print filament filled with wood particles that give the material a natural color and attractive matte surface. This material resembles wood in multiple aspects. It looks like wood, smells like wood, feels like wood, and may slightly sound like wood when knocked on. It can even be stained like regular wood to highlight the texture. Most filaments filled with wood powder (or similar additive) need a 0.6 mm, or bigger, nozzle for best results. However, the Prusament Woodfill can be easily printed with a standard brass 0.4 mm nozzle. Also, it doesn’t have to be dried before printing. Similar to our rPLA filaments using various waste products, the wood used in this filament comes from the wood manufacturing process waste.
Note that we do not guarantee a perfect winding for this type of filament.

Best use
This filament can be used for any object that does not need mechanical strength and needs to resemble wood.
Print sheet
The Prusament Woodfill filament can be printed in the satin sheet, or in the smooth sheet with gluestick applied to the print surface. It is not possible to print this filament on the Textured sheet as the adhesion would be too low.
Postprocessing
The printed object can be sanded and stained just like real wood.
