                  What happened?

                  The printer shows the message "Check the chamber thermistor wiring for possible damage."

                  Error name: Chamber MAXTEMP Error

                  Error code: #31214 (CORE One) #35214 (CORE One L) #36214 (CORE One INDX)

                  The error is shown when the chamber thermistor measures over 85 ºC at any point.

                  How to fix it? 

                  The chamber thermistor is on the fan grid on the back panel of the CORE One. Check if the thermistor is in place and if there is no damage along the cable length. Move the cable by hand and check if the temperature fluctuates over 5 ºC at a time.

                  Check the thermistor cable connector on the xBuddy extension board.

                  Access the xBuddy and xBuddy extension boards and check the thermistor cable connector. If the thermistor is damaged, it needs to be replaced.

                  How to access electronics - CORE One 

                  Locate the xBuddy board case. Looking at the printer from its rear, it is the rightmost case. 

                  Using a T10 Torx key, remove six M3x4bT bolts to release the xBuddy box cover. 

                  The bottom larger board is the xBuddy board, while the top smaller board is the xBuddy extension board. 

                  How to access electronics - CORE One L

                  Locate the Wi-Fi module on the rear panel of the printer. Using a 2.5 mm Allen key, remove the M3x14 screw. Gently pull the Wi-Fi module straight downward to remove it from the printer.

                  Note that the Wi-Fi module is connected to the electronics with eight spikes.

                  From the inside of the printer, locate on the rear side the highlighted M3x4bT bolts. 

                  Using a T10 Torx key, remove two M3x4rT bolts to release the rear xBuddy box cover. Lift the cover to expose the xBuddy and xBuddy extension boards. 

                  Chamber thermistor and its connector

                  Below are pictures of the chamber thermistor location inside the fan grille, and its connector on the xBuddy extension board.

                  Core One L: How to replace the thermistor? The plastic rivets on the chamber fan cover don't seem to be removable. At least I connot get a knife edge under any of them. No instruction provided on how one goes about removing the rivets on chamber fan cover in order to replace the thermistor.
